Stair Lift

Stair Lifts

Stair lifts can be straight or custom curved to fit almost any stair case. Many safety features are integrated into these systems to make them safe and user friendly. We offer several brands including Harmar, Handicare, and Precision Lifts.

We build custom lumber and concrete ramps to match your home’s style. We’re also proud to offer the Pathway 3G modular aluminum system from EZ-Access. The ADA standard for a ramp states that for every inch of elevation, 12 inches of ramping is required. We commonly refer to this as the 1:12 slope ratio.
Wheelchair Lifts VPL

Wheelchair Lifts (VPL)

Also known as a Vertical Platform Lift (VPL), a wheelchair lift is a motorized platform that travels vertically between different elevations. They can be installed indoors or outdoors, and take up much less room than a traditional ramp. We carry models from Harmar, EZ-Access, and RAM to be sure we have an option that meets your needs and your budget.

Grab Bars

Grab bars don’t have to be an eyesore! We have many styles and finishes to match your décor. We also have premium grab bars that double as a towel bar, toiletry shelving, tissue paper holder, and more! We proudly use Elcoma brand grab bars that feature a 1000lb down-force capacity. Other brands we offer include Great Grabz, Lifetime, and Invisia.

Barrier Free Showers

Barrier-Free Showers

Our shower systems from Bestbath Intelligent Designs are the safest way to shower and give any bathroom a trendy update. Our gelcoat finished units allow grab bars and benches to be safely mounted anywhere. These truly barrier-free units are curbless, which allows for wheelchair roll-in capability. Optional front trench drain is a stylish and functional upgrade. Many customizable options are available to help create the spa-like bathroom of your dreams.

European Wetrooms

A Euro-style Wetroom is a bathroom in which the shower is open or set behind a single wall, its floor area being flush throughout the room and the water draining away through a drain set into the floor. These rooms are as much a luxury upgrade as they are an accessible design option. Design and style are limitless with the variations of tile and fixtures available. Add a “wow” factor to your bathroom and increase your home resale value. We proudly use tile-ready pans and drains from Trending Accessibility.
Transition Tub

Transition Bathtubs

Unlike the outdated ‘Walk-In’ tubs of the past, our transition tubs feature an outward-swinging door for safer and easier transfers. Transition tubs also allow for emergency egress, should the need arise. (Google search “Walk In Tub Trapped” and see for yourself.) Our tubs from Homeward Bath and Rane feature a lifetime warranty on door seals.

Ceiling Lift Systems

A ceiling lift is a motorized lifting system that helps to transition from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, wheelchair to shower, etc. The lift unit moves along a track mounted to the ceiling of the home. These systems are designed to be used with only one caregiver and work in conjunction with a sling. Those using these systems typically use a padded sling for most transfers and a mesh hygiene sling for use in the bathroom. Systems are available in permanent or portable configurations from Prism Medical.

Door Opener

Automated Entry

Both interior and exterior doors can be fitted to open automatically with a Concierge power door opener from EZ-Access. Available controls include a wall-mounted push plate, a digital keypad, and a variety of wireless remotes.

Accessible Additions & Custom Solutions

Some situations may require a custom solution. We can widen doorways for wheelchair clearance, install solid flooring, build custom accessible vanities, and more. Remember that a good contractor will have more than one option and carry several brands to make sure the final project is the best fit for the end user. Our services reach beyond basic home modification.
